| I respectfully request the Senate note the Botori Ambassador's sentiments in the record, along with every other time they've expressed them, and that the floor be withdrawn from him to allow for other business.

| Seconded enthusiastically. No, we're not sending either of you free weapons to fight and kill eachother and perpetuate your long and boring war. Its difficult to care you see because nothing happens and nothing changes, just war over a cause nobody knows. I'll grant free transport, Galactic wide, for life, first class, to the Botor and Dawferim who ratify a peace treaty, and to the being that mediates it. How can I offer such a fortune as a prize? Because the stars will die before they get bored of scrapping.

| I agree with the Senators from Alderaan and the Trade Federation. We've heard many such entreaties from the Botori and the Dawferim, yet neither of them can even agree on the preconditions for peace talks. I've said before what I say again now, a Botor-Dawferim peace process is not a realistic possibility as long as both sides want war more than peace. The Republic hasn't favored either side of this conflict, and while the selling of arms to the Botori and the Dawferim is not illegal, it is counter-productive to peace and I don't encourage it. This session of the Senate will hear no further entreaties from the Botori or the Dawferim. Let us move on, Senators.
