| Greetings,
I am Senator Dak Onasi of Telos IV. I was recently elected by the Telosians to represent them in the Galactic Senate. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions you might have for me here on what the term is called "the floor" or if you prefer private, there's always my office inside this Senate Rotunda.

| Welcome, Mr. Onasi. Telos IV is an economically important world, and I am pleased to see it represented in the Senate once more. However, I do have a question for you. Telos IV, as you know, is now 2 years into the most devastating famine in its history. The legacy of the Jedi Civil War is perhaps still felt today, almost 4,000 years since Telos IV was destroyed in a Sith bombardment. Later, the Republic-sponsored "Telos Restoration Project" used Ithorian technology to transform your planet into a fertile agriworld once again, and my two-part question is this; 1.) do you think Ithorian methods would be useful on Telos IV today to stop the famine, and 2.) does Telos IV require Republic assistance now, as it did 3,000 years ago?

| I would be interested to hear the answers to Mr. Finbar's question as well, Senator Onasi. Not only that, but what is the Telosian government doing to help those people in need during the famine? Furthermore, is there anything that Chandrila can do to assist?

| Yes, the Telosians certainly have still felt the impact from the Jedi Civil War as well as the Restoration Project spearheaded by the Ithorians after the war. If it wasn't for the Ithorians, my planet would remain dead to this day and I most certainly would not represent the supposed homeworld in the Senate. I also must applaud my ancestors for playing a vital part in stopping the Sith forces from destroying the only "habitable" area at the time in the infamous Citadel Station. In fact, we were planning on putting the statues of our past heroes but several government officials, including myself, wasn't sure it was an appropriate time to spend the credits into a such thing when we still face a serious crisis. This crisis is what Senator Finbar had called, and I quoted, the famine.
To answer his question, and the beautiful Senator Ciaran's question as well, I do believe the Ithorians are among the most knowledgeable group of people when it comes to dealing with environmental crisis. They would be more than adequate to assist the Telosians, and we would more than welcome them to assist our planet once more if they wishes to do so. If Senator Finbar meant, does my people need the same type of assistance the Republic gave to our ancestors 3,000 years ago? No, because this is not a planet restoration project, of which would end up costing more to heal a planet than it is to deal with a famine. But if he is saying, does the Telosians need an assistance from the Republic on dealing with the famine issue? Definitely. It is a serious drought, and I hate to see the wealthy hoard the supplies while the poor are left out to starve.
Senator Ciaran, Chandrila is welcomed to lend any assistance they can toward lessening the terrible consequences of the famine. The Telosian government is doing the best we can to ensure that every single person living on the planet has enough food to last for a month. In fact, because the famine was so severe that I had the planetary council pass a law where it's required to do a monthly consensus. This was the only way to ensure that every sentient being are able to divert themselves away from starvation. However, we are not as rich as the Core Worlds, such as Coruscant and Corellia, or the purse worlds like Cato Neimoidia. We have to make do with what we can, and sometimes that may not be enough.

| That being the case, I welcome you, Senator Onasi, to this body. If it's the case that Telos IV does require Republic assistance, I'd be happy to work with you on an aid package, though I agree with you that planetary and private options would be more desirable.
