Darwin Sky had spent rather a lot of time prepping his troops at the new base of operations stationed on MZX33291. The planet was a relative unknown planet, and it would more known years and years later. He could very well name the planet after himself, because he had discovered it. However, for a couple of reasons, Darwin decided not to do so. Firstly, he would have to submit to the Republic registry for approval on a such thing. The young man hated legal process, and always believed it to take a long time. Thus, something as simple as a lengthy process would turn him away from wanting to name the planet. Secondly, it would be plainly stupid to attract unwanted attention if he were to simply name the planet after himself. MZX33291 was a terrestrial planet, with deserts and ice as the primary terrains. Obviously, he had his secret base of operations stationed somewhere in the desert region of the planet. After having spent some time living on MZX33291, he had studied the local flora and fauna population...in addition to other tasks that was burdened to himself.

There weren't a lot of plants and creatures that existed on this world, but there was one particular fauna that had taken Darwin's interest. He even had a team of scientists, or rather zoologists, figure out a way to domesticate the carnivorous slashrats. Right now, he would leave the task entirely up to his scientists as domesticating the slashrats were pretty low on the priority list. Stopping a holographic display of an ancient and infamous Jedi by the name of Revan commanding victory over the Sith forces at Star Forge, almost singlehandedly by himself, he moved out of his personal quarters. The young duelist had always held Revan in highest regards, mainly because he shared similar views as Revan had a few thousand years earlier. Darwin had believed that it is always the best to be so willing to do whatever it takes to eliminate the Republic's enemies, as long as they pose a credible threat to the security of the Republic. In that regards, you would consider Darwin a grey jedi. Indeed, he would wield powers from both sides of the Force in order to ensure the Republic does not crumble under his watch.

After a brief walk within the hallway, the grey jedi had entered into a room to his right. There was twelve flight simulation consoles, one for each pilots within this fighting force. Eleven consoles were occupied with pilots, and the twelfth one was empty-seated. That console was reserved solely for Darwin, but he sometimes allow Kaylie to use it in order to improve her ability to fly in combat situations. For the moment, using flight simulation program was cost effective and the only thing that could be used as training pilots. Darwin was currently working on acquiring a bunch of fighters for himself and his best, as well as only, squadron of the Freedom Warriors. "How is the training going along, men?" His tone was heightened, for all of his pilots to hear him speaking. The response were good as usual, giving him the short answers he preferred to hear. Such as, "Good, sir." or "It's going well, sir." The young leader would stay in the room for about ten minutes, watching a few simulations being run through. When he was satisfied with the progress of his pilots, the grey jedi exited the room and went back out into the hallways.

The next thing Darwin did was to go outside the base, to oversee his troops running through their usual training routine. This part of the day meant the troops were doing the obstacle course. However, he did not stay long. The grey jedi simply wanted to see his comrades-in-arms to do the work, leaving to go back inside. Finally, he would make his way for the garage where Kaylie was working on one of the speeders. Darwin would move toward the other end of the hallways, and entered the already opened door into the garage.

There were a couple other mechanics working on their own thing in their own space, but the first person he spotted was Kaylie. The grey jedi would smile gently, and begin walking toward the mechanic. "Hey, Kay. How's my favorite lady doing today?"

There was a part of the speeder that had rusted on.  Kay had wrenched it as far as she could with tools, but when Dar walked in, she was kicking the part as hard as she could with the heel of her boot.  She finally got it loose and then used her gloved hands to pull the part off of the disabled speeder.  She let the rusted part fall to the floor with a large and resounding clunk before she threw a glance at Darwin.  "I'm fine.  I'd be better if this thing wasn't such a rusted heap of scrap."  She said as she tapped one of the boosters with the toe of her boot.

Kaylie shrugged and pulled her gloves off and tossed them down onto her toolbox.  "So what brings you down here?  Needed a little less overseeing and something a bit more hands on?"  She offered him a wrench before she moved around to the other side of the speeder and started pulling one of the outer panels off.  She didn't expect him to really know a whole lot about it, because it was her specialty.  He was a fighter, and she wasn't.

"Or something else?  Just need to talk?"
