| Leofric's Naboo Transport touched down on Devros's day side near a river in the most temperate region, along with three uglier snub nosed ones. He had a couple of droids and friends along for the ride with him along with some refugees from Naboo and elsewhere, around fifty in total. They established an electric fence to keep out any wild animals and opened up their tents and prefabricated shelters.
A party was sent to cut wood and others to scout the area on the pair of Swoops he brought with him. This was the first wave of settlers to Devros but he hoped many more would come in time. Being first on the ground he had planted a small House Jafan flag and said awkwardly "I claim this system for myself, Leofric Jafan, in the name of the Sovereign House Jafan, Kings of the Naboo and now Devros.
