Anjiliac Request

At long last (this request took me awhile), I request that Njon Anjiliac be recognized as the "muscle" of the Anjiliac family and one of the leaders of the Hutt Cartel. Anjiliac Spiced Wines, Ltd. would function as Njon's front company for trafficking mostly in spice, but also slaves, weapons, etc. In no particular order, I request the following fall within Njon's direct or indirect influence, belonging either to him or the Anjiliac family.

Area of influence roughly encompassing the Pabol Hutta hyperspace route from Nal Hutta as far as Varl, and Shag Pabol as far as Ylesia, with Ylesia contested by the Besadii family. This small area of influence would give Njon considerable control over the slave trade in much of Hutt Space and thus in a position of power on Nal Hutta (though Nal Hutta would remain essentially a neutral world, I request that Nar Shaddaa be basically considered "Njon's town," with numerous Anjiliac Spiced Wines distilleries, warehouses, etc.).

Point Nadir, a shadowport run by the Anjiliac family, retconned as being located in Hutt Space. Being a canon location, I also request this be "the" shadowport in the RP.

Temple of Maya Armus on Napdu, the moon of Da Soocha.

A private villa for Njon on Du Hutta.

Spice operation on Ryloth, mentioned only as the source of the Anjiliac family's unlimited (for RP purposes) supply of spice.

Furthermore I request the following forces.

[1] Marauder-class Corvette "Wild Thing" (w/ [8] Z-95 Headhunters, [4] HH-87 Starhoppers)

[1] Minstrel-class Space Yacht "Azalus" (w/ [2] Z-95 Headhunters, [2] HH-87 Starhoppers)

[3] Interceptor-class Frigates "BeWilder," "Fierfek," and "Curse of Zonnos"

[1] VCX-700 Heavy Courier "Ryyk Blade"

[1] Class VI Bulk Freighter "Mighty One," re-purposed as a carrier

w/ [6] Z-95 Headhunters,
[6] HH-87 Starhoppers,
[6] "Borvo"-type starfighters
[12] C-73 Tracker starfighters
[1] Mechanized Assault Flyer (MAF)
[1] Calipsan 560 mining ship)

I argue in defense of this many ships that many of them are lightly-armed. The Interceptor-class frigates and the Class VI bulk freighter in particular. The reason for this many ships is mainly to cover more ground and be able to reasonably defend against player attacks within Njon's area of influence, which doesn't include that many planets but is spread out over a wide area. I don't anticipate using many, or even any of these ships outside of Hutt Space.

Added (26 April 13, 1:52 AM)
---------------------------------------------
Forgot to add, numerous toughs of various species. The sort of muscle you see hanging around in Jabba's palace. Plus dancers and other standard Hutt groupies. I suppose I should also request Njon's "palace" over Nar Shaddaa, the Franchise, which in this time period I'll say is an LH-3010 freighter?

Added (26 April 13, 1:53 AM)
---------------------------------------------
Lucrehulk-class LH-3010 cargo freighter

This is a pretty large starting request, but as I've been informed by other members of management that the Hutts are, more or less, intended to be the major power of the roleplay, I'll do my best to do this fairly.

Now:

The areas of influence I Approve of.

Point Nadir has direct mention of the Anjiliac Clan so I Approve of that as well.

As well, the temple, the villa and spice operations I Approve of.

On to ships!

I Approve of the following:

- 1x Marauder-class corvette
- 1x Minstrel-class yacht
- 1x VCX-700 Heavy Courier
- 2x Interceptor-class frigates
- 1x Lucrehulk-class LH-3010 Cargo Freighter
- 1x Class VI Bulk Freighter (repurposed as carrier)
- 16x Z-95 Headhunters
- 12x HH-87 Starhoppers
- 6x 'Borvo'-type starfighter (I would like a classification as to how many laser cannons these have, exactly)
- 1x Calipsan 560 Mining Ship
- 12x C-73 Tracker starighter

I vote to Deny:

- 1x Interceptor-class frigate
- 1x Mechanized Assault Flyer

While you give a convincing reason for the plethora of vessels Njon has, a single Interceptor mounts six cannons and three torpedo launchers (not mentioning how many warheads there are per launcher, mind you), but even on its own, in a roleplay where corvette-sized vessels are considered the 'large' (to my understanding), that's a lot of firepower. A lot of firepower, even without adding in the firepower that could be brought to bear en masse from the entire flotilla.

The MAF I deny because of its use by the CIS and no mention of it being utilized by other factions. While I won't say its impossible for Njon to acquire or steal some later, at this time, because I feel I have approved a large amount of destructive power and because of it being a 'faction-specific item' I'm going to have to give it a no-go.

I have no problem with this, especially if fewer ships for me means fewer for other Hutt players, too. To be honest, I was concerned that I was requesting too much. I think I can do without an Interceptor-class frigate and still be able to cover my ground.

I also take your point on the MAF, although being the predecessor to the droid gunship we see in far more common Confederate use, I speculated that the MAF pre-dates the Clone Wars. I don't know that, however.

As for Borvo's starfighters, I would argue from the below video that they have three fire-linked laser cannons. I'll accept whatever conclusions you draw from the video, however (the fighters are mostly seen in that first part of the level, and again at the end). Btw, notice how useless your "reinforcements" are in the last part of the level. Always frustrated me. "Here we are to save the day! But we're just going to fly in circles and let you handle this because, uh, we have no torpedoes. Yeah, that's it. Even though you don't have any torpedoes either."

Also, as a Hutt I do not condone the racist anti-Hutt language in this video. Younger Hutts (<50 years) should not watch this video.

Well the focus, as I've been told a few times, is to encourage players to work together more and have less major fleets. Granted, I too would like to see Huttese fleets kept to a smaller number as well, at least for the beginnings of the roleplay (as I am open to expansion later on), but if you're willing to accept the two denials, then I'll agree with three laser cannons and call the rest of the request Approved, pending any commentary from the rest of management.
