| That seems to me to be a sufficient explanation for the absence of any military assistance to be provided in the RP under any circumstances. As long as it's accounted for, I'm happy. In the context of this request, I should say. 'Content' is the word, I think. What is happiness, really? Successful, often momentary self-delusion, surely. I digress. I think I'd prefer, at least at first, to limit this endeavor to a single world in the Jafan system, rather than the entire system. This, according to your statistics, would presumably be Jafan II, so I ask that the Axum system only exercise sovereignty over that world, that Ordan's title be "governor of Jafan II," etc. 100,000 population seems a bit steep to me. Perhaps closer to 75,000? (I'm assuming here this is a recently-established colony and not something that dates back hundreds of years). The rest of your governmental and societal particulars look okay to me.
Now I understand you want a fair number of fighters and patrol craft here, but what is it, truly, to 'want' something? Do the things we think we want most in life arise, in fact, from what we don't want? We don't want to be alone, nor poor, etc. Someone said that we're more what we're not than what we are, and I suspect there's truth in that. Of course, it's reasonable enough to not want your colony to be poorly-defended, but I think 48 starfighters (even Toscans) is pushing it a bit. 24 is probably as high as I can go, at least to begin with. And 2 IPV-1 system patrol craft, though Jaron can probably convince me to approve of 3.
The industrial complex is fine with me. I don't like the space colony, however; I'd rather the convicts simply be housed on-site in the industrial complex or in a detention center on the planet itself. As for the laser defenses, it'll depend for me on how many of those IPV-1's we end up going with.

| I wasn't in the best of moods when I made that post. Usually, I just wouldn't post under those circumstances, but I promised I would. Nonetheless, the points I made stand. Is there any other input from managers on this or should we go with my numbers?
