| "Plotting on as usual" thought Kant reading Aurelius' report. He was a commander of an overcrewed, old and arguably massively out of place in modern Judicial Fleets. He wondered if the Budget Department ever calculated the number of smaller and more efficient ships could be purchased and crewed for half the resources demanded by that bulky hulk named Centurion. The grape vine had it that HKD had a new design to replace it due to be publicly unveiled soon, he only prayed that the ship was not such a waste of Republic money as Aurelius' vessel. Moving from mere thought quickly to speech he sent a short further note.
"A quick addendum: There have been reports of some bulk freighter ships not bearing transponders or identification codes of any sort close to Gravlex Med. There's also rumours of Huttese pirates sniffing about the Dantooine System near the second planet, but no attacks reported yet, perhaps the Centurion might find itself best disposed to show the banner for the Republic in the Dantooine System then begin to check bulk freighter registrations at Gravlex Med and the surrounding area. Please feel free to inform me if the Centurion requires backup from more modern craft if it finds itself outpaced, we wouldn't want to strain heritage-grade engineering would we!"

| You have pride in your ship, Captain Kant. I like that. And it seems that both of you run tight ships. Captain Aurelius, I see the Centurion is well supplied, so there's no hurry for provisioning on Anx Minor. Once you've conducted your prisoner to the RSF installation in the Dantooine system (and repaired your holonet transceiver), consider doing as Captain Kant has suggested—piracy is endemic in the Raioballo Sector and if there are pirates operating in the Dantooine system I think a show of force is in order. Captain Kant, take delivery of a squad of Judicials at Ord Grovner and then proceed to the Chommell Sector, where a recent terrorist bombing on the planet Kreeling destroyed one of our own Pelta-class vessels. Collect the bodies of our crewmen and dispatch the Judicial squad on a search for suspects in the area, supporting the operation with your own marines as needed. Coruscant has authorized you to interdict any ship you suspect of transporting the fugitives responsible for the Kreeling attack.

Dear Sir,
I request authorization to dispatch several Marine squads aboard our Scout boats to launch sector-wide patrols and to launch anti-smuggling operations where tenable.
May I also request Rescue Frigate Thunderbird be granted permission to detach under it's officer commanding on a "showing the flag" operation to Chommell Minor for one week where it may take on supplies and also aid with any difficulties local forces might have dealing with problems (natural disasters etc).
I'll also have flight-size patrol pickets out around my ship when on station, we're on a bearing to intersect with the Enarc Run and patrol near Kreeling along the major routes after cleanup. Also have contacted local law enforcement and judicial offices for leads as well as pulling in all my contacts. May I ask for the evidence dossier for this being terrorism and all relevant data up to this point? Destruction of such a capital-scale asset is highly concerning if it represents hostile action from terrorists and must be merit a prompt and punishing response?
Also, Sir, I'd like to let you know that the uniform and appearance guidelines as posted of earlier this year have been fully implemented across my command. May I question if the guidelines issued regarding facial hair apply to congenitally hairy species as there appears to be no clarification in the addenda about this and a few of our non-human crew appear to resist daily shaving.
