| The new rules page is up (here). It should look familiar, because most of these are the same rules we've had for 10 years. However, a few changes have been made for this edition of Legends, which I've listed below to save you time.
● Rule 1.2―computer hacking is now considered an "attack" and thus a player must be able to defend himself from it. ● Rule 1.3―the 4 day posting rule has been changed to 3 days. ● Rule 1.5―circumstances under which a character can be killed have been clarified. ● Rule 1.7―now requires a good IC reason to kill a character or destroy a character's faction. ● Rule 1.9―the invincibility rule has been expanded to include certain types of armor and now pertains also to NPC's. ● Rule 1.10―must consult management before creating characters who are public officials. ● Rule 2―new section added specifically for requests. ● Rule 2.4―new classification system for corporations ● Rule 2.5―custom species are now allowed. Images required for custom species and ship designs. ● Rule 4―going back to the same Force power rules we've had for 10 years. ● Rule 5.2―the procedure for new Senators is now much more complicated. ● Rule 5.5―votes of no confidence are now allowed. ● Rule 5.7―2/3rds majority required to expel a Senator. ● Rule 5.10―Republic fleet movements require Senate approval. ● Rule 5.11―planetary fleets may be requisitioned for Republic use. ● Rule 6.1―a formal structure for management. ● Rule 6.4―best practice for deleting or blocking member accounts.
The rules may be subject to additional changes over the coming days. I've been in consultation with numerous people about improvements to the rules, and I seem to remember some changes were requested in AGW, but never adopted. I'll look into those, also. The goal here is to go "back to basics" while also implementing lessons that have been learned over the last 10 years of RP to make this better experience for everyone.

| I should also add that the new setting has been posted too (here). It's 92 BBY, or 60 years before Episode I. Some of you remember that A Galaxy At War was the successor to an earlier RP called A Galaxy Divided, which was established 10 years ago. A Galaxy Divided brought many of us together, and the rules and style of that RP have formed the basis of A Galaxy At War and, now, Legends. The new setting for Legends is very similar to the original A Galaxy Divided, a time period with a lot of creative freedom. This will be an open-galaxy RP in the classic style, I having learned the lessons from our last version of Legends. Basically, I want to RP with you guys and I'm hoping we can go back to the way things were not so long ago.

| Jace, anything that would help get this on the road would be a good thing, RP or what we used to know it as anyway, has been on the steady decline since MSN closed their doors first on the main chats then on group chats. while it still does exist, games have taken the spotlight for the most part with the rp elements added to them. nothing can come close to what is written from our own imaginations and it would be good to see something like this revived once more to its glory days. I believe people are out there that are intrested, just got to find em.

| That's really well-said. I agree completely. I meant what I said about these being the last days of this hobby, but even if text-based RP probably doesn't have much of a future, there's no reason it can't be as good as it was in the past as long as we're all here. We all have great memories of RP, and there's no reason we can't have more. These last couple of months without RP have reminded me how much I enjoy this hobby; it really is more fun in the long-term than any video game. Looking forward to RPing with you again, Jade.
