| With Rim2Core Alskan is planning on producing ships in the Mon-Calamarian vein as a new era for it's fleet. So they'd be looking toward dropping the current Missile Corvette basis and replacing it with a much more "line ship" oriented fleet, using converted merchantment to do so.
None of this request would actually be usable in combat -but- will form the basis for the re-designed Alasakan Navy
Alsakan would like to make the speculative purchase of 3 Luxury Liners of the class later converted into warships during the Rebellion era s the famous Dauntless-class. These would be unarmed.
Plus, a purchase of
3 The Magnificent-class Merchantman (M-Class Luxury Liner) (disarmed)
The following to be placed in Alsakan's Ship Re-Engineering facilities for several months and are so unusable in combat as yet, just the vessels being studied to glean what detail might be gained from them with a view to later putting them into service. Not kept fuelled, armed etc at the moment.
6 Seltiss-class Patrol Boats
3 Discril-class Assault Ships (bought from the TDF having been captured from pirates)

| This ought to be relatively simple? I don't mind taking an actual corvette or two out of commission to just build up the numbers here. The Discril-class ships would be inoperable just a trio of captured beat up piratical vessels for used in the labs and to study Daupherm ship design.

| This bears a very similar resemblance to this.
However, I shall go accordingly.
I will have to deny 3x Luxury liners of the sort converted later into warships. Granted, the Dauntless-class is Rebellion era, and there is no clear source as to when said liners were produced. As it states, "The cruiser was a sleek, battle-ready platform." I'm reading 'new and awesome' from this. But, I digress. If you can find a clear source as to when the liners were produced, I'll go more on those. Until then, I have to assume the liners don't exist yet.
The Kuari Princess has an earliest sighting date of 0 BBY. I'm not convinced this design necessarily exists yet either. However, other M-class liners do exist. So this isn't really a deny or approve, just a denial of a specific 'type' of M-class.
The problem I have with the Seltiss-class is that it doesn't clearly state a magazine size for its warheads. We can hash that out and I'll be fine approving it, with a few other caveats we can discuss later. So, on hold.

| So... you're saying in order to go ahead with buying Sorosuub Cruise Liners and Mon Calamari Cruise Liners, I am seriously going to have to request the custom designs when equivalent ones exist already? I thought we were trying to streamline things. The Cruiser was yes a slick warship... It doesn't state the Liner Was.
Other things which don't appear till the Rebellion Era we've permitted because they're suitably generic i.e. the Gun Emplacement or fill a niche.
No the Kuari Princess did not appear until 0 ABY. However, neither did a great many things we accept. Would you really prefer me to request a whole custom line of Mon Calamari Star Liners of the same general spec, or can we just run with the design being an older one?
But as you wish. I'll just withdraw this and request numbers with the custom designs... if I must.

| I would have been more than willing to discuss this reasonably here, without the need for flooding the board with extra requests. Unlike the Gun Emplacement, however, said designs you are requesting are more than likely to be used by nobody but you, making them custom, yes, but not suitably generic nor very niche-filling.
Nonetheless, if you wish it closed up, I shall do so.
