| Il switch out the 3 Etti-class for 2 Flare-class Light Frigate (pending their approval)
The asteroid prospector is intended to be a non-combat ship so since that doesn't need an explicit request, consider it dropped.Added (04 May 14, 2:07 PM)

Just say yes and close it. If the other request is denied I don't get the ships from it.
But its in the bog basically ready to go. Just approve with the caveat that the Flares wont happen until the design is approved (if it is)

| I see this request seems to depend on a "Flare-class Light Frigate." So I'm putting this one on hold while I go in search of that one. In the meantime though I can say confidently that 16 Biremes is far, far too many. Removing hyperdrives is no comfort whatsoever; it negates the principle of having to field a planetary fleet either offensively or defensively, but not both simultaneously. So anyway, ON HOLD for the time being while I search for a "Flare-class Light Frigate."

| To be honest, also is sixteen corvettes that disproportionate? Considering Humbarine has no defence platforms and has its fleet as its defenses.
This fleet has one exploratory vessel and the ability to mount a decent task force. With 16 Biremes (willing to have all of these fighter free if it helps) would still leave it outgunned by Alderaan, Alsakan, Lorrd/Kol Huro and likely Arkania, with no vessel to match either Esseles or Empress Tetas procurator Or the elite craft Alderaaan field.
Assuming I did deploy eight biremes and leave eight with the whole rest of the fleet it would still be worse defended than Alsakan or any other world with a Golan station (firepower wise) and also Kol Huro... It's hardly a doom fleet. A bireme isn't a doom craft, it's a slow broadside gunboat which operates as part of a larger group, outgunned and inferior to by a Maurauder class etc.. Considering the whole offensive capacity of the fleet is corvette based it does not seem an unreasonable proposition surely?

| It would be good to get Jace's input on this one if he has a minute. So we can see what he makes of my arguments.
Either way, I'd like to Maximize Biremes to the largest extent possible, even if its at the cost of SCT-class, CR90s or even Flares if need be to keep a decent size squadron in shape. I want it as the workhorse and I don't mind sacrificing some other craft if need be, but I would prefer not to have a "jumble" fleet unless I need to where no one class is the majority.

1 Nautilus-class capable of carrying up to 36 Rothana fighters as standard, Maximum capaity circa 1000 for short distances but not set up to fuel or long term haul huge fighter units.. Set up with advanced sensors etc allowing you to cosndier the way in which.
6 Ice-class
3 Resolute-class
3 Nebula-class Protection Frigate
2 Flare-class Light Frigate
Fighters mix of Rothana designs with occasional pre-Rothana Unit. Overall a ratio overall ratio of 1:3... so of 144 launched craft other than fro the Liner total its 36 bombers again for for 108 Interceptors.
