Tremaine Fowlkes Shipyard Acquisition

Via a loan with the IGBC staked on his house, speeders and fighter, Tremaine Fowlkes is to contract to lease for 100 years a Shipyard identical to this (but immobile) orbiting the planet Dakaret, home of the Cygnus Star Empire's Navy and known for it's profligacy of abandoned yards. The Yard is to be named Fowlkes Drive Yards and initially make it's money by Tremaine negotiating to act as an authorized service station and repair yard for RHE/KDY ships as he brings it up to operational capacity. It will be able to produce ships up to around 600m in length and down to fighter size, custom designs and others if sub-contracted to.

Jamie is selling the yard for a peppercorn price of 1 Million Credits to bring business into the region, despite its value being some way higher. To allow Tremaine to be able to afford to bring it up to condition out of his three million credit loan.

Naturally Tremaine will find it cheapest to buy from the nearest producers of material and the closest factory and mining worlds are all in the Cygnus Star Empire and have no import tax on their goods, in fact an exclusivity on sourcing ship hulls only from the Empire will be written in, the same would apply to unskilled labour to ensure lots of jobs are made by the yard.

As a clause of the IGBC loan to Tremaine, he is required to hire suitable protection, and Jamie the Hutt is to donate 2 G-9 Riggers from the fleet to act to protect his dock and also pay for the upkeep of a significant household guard for Tremaine. Naturally the dock is in the system the Cygnus Fleet is based, but this gives him extra protection.

As an on-time completion bonus Tremaine would also be given the deed and title to the abandoned (formerly inhabited, terrestrial) moon in the Dakaret System (abandoned when the economy meant there were no jobs so people left a hundred years ago). The moon would be named New Telos, and Tremaine it's Count (ruler) as well as owner - he would be free to colonize it or sell title and moon.

Thus if completed on-time Tremaine will pay off his IGBC loan in a matter of months. However, he will need new contracts as the work as subcontracted repair agent for RHE/KDY in the Sector won't be able to make the yard operate at a profit, at full operational capacity. So he then has to start selling his own ships, win contracts or find other sources of income.

Telos-Cygnus Star Empire Mutual Amity Treaty

Telos IV purchases the following ships when they are made redundant by the changes to the Cygnus Military at a reasonable rate paid to Emperor Jamulon Tiure.

Telos has no fleet, so its new numbers would be:

2 Space Master Medium Transports
2 G9 Rigger Freighters
24 Cloakshapes
8 R41 Starchasers
9 A6 Interceptors
3 H6 Bombers
6 Novasword Fighters

Telos IV is to open a direct daily passenger route to Cygnus Prime and Dakaret.

Telosians are to be free to buy unused Govt or private land in the Cygnus Star Empire.

Telos IV is given a waiver on import taxes for it's goods being sold to the Cygnus Star Empire.

Neither the Cygnus Star Empire or Telos IV shall require visas for individual travel if the individual has a return ticket.

Mutual Embassies shall be established.
