I'd like to request a 12,000 year old Pius Dea Temple Complex built into a millions of years old structure built by unknown aliens the uninhabited Vavatch 9.

Vavatch 9 would be similar to real mars in all respects except being considerably rockier on the surface, having an atmosphere which is breathable for several minutes without causing damage, and having constant storms with green as its predominant soil colour not red. The atmosphere and unknown effects interfere to the point of frustration with sensors and most digital systems, hypercomms do not function at all on the world for reasons unknown.

The Temple would be over a mile high and over half a mile on each of the four sides of it's base. It would be a pyramid with a flat top. The temple would be a solid piece of what researchers would describe as "Quantum Crystalline Rock" which has the properties of (Quantum Crystalline Armour) it is totally resistant to analysis from every sensor ever brought to scan it, taking samples has proven impossible even with turbolaser strength cutting lasers and proton bomb blasting charges. As the rock's makeup is unknown and its impossible to scan, there is no way to replicate it or it's properties as science has no idea what makes up the rock or how to go about replicating it. It is a smooth cool rock (it appears to be endothermic in absorbing heat) with a dark greenish tint to it's almost black hue.

Ten years ago a well funded team of scientists would have traveled from Lorrd University to explore the situation. Theyd find that the only way to communicate was by a Comms Satellite placed in very high orbit which could transmit hypercomms messages they'd take to it with their transport on weekly runs.

The project worked on for over 800 days before weekly reports ceased. Lorrd pressured the Judicial Forces to dispatch an investigatory team which found no evidence of a fight in the base camp but no sign of the explorers, or transport. The conclusion was put down to slavers or pirates.

Discoveries of the Lorrd University Expedition (the state of Public knowledge):

* The structure is of an impenetrable rock. Charges and cutting lasers ineffective, impervious to sensors.
* The structure has many sealed areas, the "seals" were all in the form of Blast Doors left by the Pius Dea group. This meant that each blast door had to be cut or levered open early on (until it was discovered some of the doors would open if their voice activation system and power still opened with the High Trammic "Recludo" (unlock). This appears however to only work on the doors in the lower halls and not any of the exterior airlocks.
* The bottom 1/4 of the Pyramid's main corridors were mapped. Also three dozen rooms of various sizes were opened and excavated.
* There is an active power and computer network, the computer was unwilling or unable to communicate.
* Self-building in machines that melt down the old droid and reconstitute a new one from the materials, simple and unintelligent cleaning droids still dusted in hallways but werent able to access sealed rooms. They appeared to be unable to communicate and to avoid contact where possible.
* Several volumes of Pius Dea texts were found in the ruins and returned to Lorrd, they were copies of prayer books and religious texts.
* Pius Dea built a duracrete complex around the temple with places of worship and statues but these were badly eroded and had been compromised by the environment so that many statues were half buried and their buildings full of sand.
* The atmosphere caused a green light to fill the air during the day and many rocks showed luminescence at night.
* No life even at a microbial level was detected.
* Radiation levels on the surface outside of buildings was relatively high.
* The temple crackles with electricity coruscating across its surface occasionally with a cracking thunder that woke the nearby base camp during the night.
* The last record sent was on day 862 when the message sent was as follows "Day 862, Dallin and J'urdak have informed me they wish to return on the next supply freighter due to stress at the eerie conditions, these two have only been here a year and their loss is a great disappointment to me as they are fine young Cryptographers and have proven invaluable in cracking many cyphers on doors. In the night Garthson reported hearing sounds behind the door we assume leads to the stairwell to the fourth floor, I caught him with a blaster at the excavation site and chided him for paranoia, it has become a recurring theme in the younger men and women here. Yesterday within a sealed room we assume to have been refrectory we discovered a number of prayer books which I believe are not extant in the record elsewhere, they will be returned to Lorrd on the next transport, no doubt to be confiscated by the Jedi like many I have returned before."

The Truth about the Temple

* Built originally as a simple hollow pyramid wormed with holes and arcane engines by an unknown species it is untold millions of years old.
* The Pius Dea managed to master some of these arcane devices and allow a computer to control them, to do this they installed their most intelligent ship computer into the control as it had the only mind capable of speaking the extremely complex and cryptic language of the ancient machines fast enough for them to react to the orders after opening a connection (or else it would auto disconnect)
* The temple was used as a Pius Dea training center for their most devout cultists and scholars. It was also used as a prison for those who did not obey the word of the Contispex Dynasty.
* The computer is able to do all of the following but is severely deranged and senile from spending so much time in it's own company. It does not have any uplinks to talk to it directly outside of its control room and only communicates over audio/visual means with people, closing the link if it detects even a hint of espionage, usually followed by killing the culprit. It only speaks High Trammic.

- Control the weather within a hundred kilometers of the structure, able to create massive wind and thunderstorms.
- Project the sensor dampening and comms jamming field which fills the whole planet (or deactivate it)
- Fire arcs of green lightning up to 1AU from the planet or anywhere on the planet within 10km, able to drain or impart power sufficient to cripple capital ships in seconds or vaporize humans climbing the structure. (Three times daily for 30 seconds at a time)
- Fill corridors and rooms in the structure with coruscating plasma lightning at will. This lower powered lightning within the interior can be bypassed with a faraday cage created from Phrik (but this is not known). The intensity can be varied from mild shocking levels to vaporization.
Control the cleaning droids mostly using them as spies.
- "Possess" and talk through digital systems (such as droids, powered lifting suits etc) within the pyramid without the method being traceable.
- Control the 50 Sentinel Droids (skeletal armoured (Armour equivalent to a B2 Battle Droid) human size battle droids with disruptors), it can also use its droid foundry to remake (but not increase the number due to lack of resources) them if the cleaning robots can collect the remnants when theyre damaged beyond repair. The droids require the computer's full attention to use in battle or will become stupid and simply stand shooting at targets, thus while theyre in operation the functionality of the rest of the abilities are limited.
Control of all blast doors and forcefield traps in the area around the computer core.

Contents of the Pyramids Library
- Large numbers of ancient texts lost.
- Copies of histories of the Pius Dea censored by the Jedi.
- Schematics for Pius Dea Craft.
- Many books of Jedi and Sith as well as other martial orders lore (as the Pius Dea sought to learn from their enemy).

Contents of the Tombs
- The graves of no less than three of the Contispex Chancellors.
- Several sith graves of noted Sorcerers (A single Sith Sword in one tomb as well as a Sith scroll in another)

Contents of the Vault
- Hundreds of millions of credits worth of metals and jewels, mostly in boxes of plunder labeled as spoils of war (treasure confiscated from conquered worlds).
- Numerous examples of Pius Dea Art, Armour and Weapons
- Numerous phials of exquisitely rare poisons in storage, including Sith Poisons and some forgotten Malkite poisons.

Contents of the Computer
- The coordinates of each Cathedral Ship at the end of the Pius Dea wars, accurate till the moment the virus hit them, allowing their courses to be checked and leaving the possibility of finding a forgotten one open.
- Detail in a greater level than is currently known of the Pius Dea's motives, operation and history.
- What happened to the Archaeological team and their ship.
- Improved hyperspace routes in the mid rim used by Pius Dea commandos and unknown to the public, allowing much faster transport.
- The contents of many Pius Dea Secret projects.

General Contents
- Dozens of well equipped and lavish torture chambers, with details of tortures committed.
- Several cathedral sized places of worship and hundreds of smaller ones.
- Millions of Pius Dea period books.
- The skeletons of over 250,000 humans and aliens held in a huge ossuary the in basement level of the Temple.

Note:

The temple is essentially invulnerable, however I don't see this as a problem for a stationary feature. There is a lot of power to control the environment and cause damage to nearby features but again, people who come there are choosing to risk a known danger area. Players will not likely be killed by the computer, rather the area is somewhere people can "go on a quest" to find something either to make them rich or to become famous etc.

The doors inside can all be opened or cut through, and the guards are basically b2 droids and killable pretty easily.
