| Could your yard produce the next line of craft for the Judicial Forces to use in the patrol of safer sectors and act as revenue cutters for the taxes enforced upon trade in the Deep Core, Core, Inner Rim and Expansion Region? We would require your yard be able to produce the following ship named the Arbitrator-class Systems Security Ship, with a run of 12 initially ordered, and the possibility of 24 further craft being produced by the same yard if performance is what is desired.
Use of as many separate Republic corporation components and not yard exclusive designs would be desirable. I.e. Engines should be from one supplier, Generators from another, etc
The contract will reward diversity and the cooperative incorporation of as many yards and manufacturers components as possible.
This is open only to manufacturers without Republic contracts in order to promote growth in smaller yards or those lacking work to help rejuvenate their economy. We think this would especially suit the larger yards fitting this description.
Tech Specs required for the design
• Best value for money. Yards able to produce reliable craft to our specifications will be viewed favourably with future
• No more than 100 meters long.
• 65 MGLT sublight speed.
• Capacity to operate in atmosphere and land.
• CR90 Equivalent shields and hull integrity minimum.
• Armed with Dual Turbolaser, Heavy Ion Cannon, 4 Quadlaser Emplacements, 6 Concussion Missile Tubes (1 Missile per tube), Heavy Tractor Beam Projector
• As advanced a sensor array as possible.
• Class 3 or above hyperdrive.
• Space to carry a small customs vessel and a customs team.
• Minimal organic crew with the Consular-class seen as a model, with Astromech and Maintenance Droids keeping the craft operative leaving the crew for their jobs as with the Consular-class.
• At least 50 tons cargo capacity.
• The section containing the bridge (forward ventral) should be able to break away like a salon pod to serve as the lifeboat. It must have a hyperdrive of at least class 10 with a 1 jump automated course to nearest Republic world capacity (requiring minimal fuel and allowing a small unit)
