Senator,

I nominated you.

I pledged unconditional support without want of gain or wealth. But I ask you to look at the exposed lies and hypocrisy we see today from Lorrd and it's Senator and reject the support of Senator Lekpin. He is a liar, a traitor to the Republic and a cad of the worst kind.

He will only taint our pure political message with his own dark stain of association with slavery, and support thereof. I urge you to have none of it.

If you have Lorrd onboard. As a corrupt slave state, you might as well have the whole Corporate Alliance and Commerce Guild. If you want my support you must recuse his..

Senator Terrawin,

Indeed, you did nominate me. I view that as a broad endorsement of my policies and beliefs. I greatly appreciate your support, and that is why I must be honest with you at this moment. A politician is not made by his supporters; he is made by himself, his beliefs, his words, his actions. It is my belief that every being is entitled to their rights, no matter the situation. Senator Lekpin has had no criminal charges or convictions against him in regards to the current crisis on Lorrd; although it is my understanding that there is some letter floating about that is of notable consideration for investigation. Regardless, he is still a Senator, and he has a right to chose who he will support as Chancellor. I will not stop anyone from exercising their right to chose and vote. I'm afraid as a matter of principle, I can not do as you ask.

I'm afraid this may result in the loss of Alsakan support for your campaign. I will have to discuss this with the foreign office presently and see what their conclusion is. It's extremely regrettable. We will consider our position but we believe that it is possible that you have lost your way, regrettably.

I shall give you further information as it develops from our Parliament but we're unlikely to vote alongside the Lorrdian Military-Pharmaceutical-Industrial Complex Senatorial Representation as this would compromise our own ethical standards. I will lobby for our continued support as I support you Senator Kongming, I believe you are well intentioned. But please remember your goals and promises and reflect on the situation.

Sincerely,

Senator Kongming,

I believe you're a good being. And I believe you can be a great Chancellor some day. But I must inform you with deepest regret that I have come to the conclusion that Senator Kruus' conceptualization's firm policies, commitments and ideology are what we need (at least in this term) to rebuild trust in the Republic. More ships, more secret services, etc aren't the way forward.

I think it's a systemic change we need, and Senator Kruus has set out ten benchmarks his term would guarantee, no other candidate has done that. It's for this reason I am withdrawing my support for the Kongming Campaign (with no slight to yourself, simply a belief that first we must fix the structure and integrity of the Republic, the trust in Government and the Jedi as our priority, rather than simply focusing on issues of security).

Furthermore, I tender my sincere apologies for my withdrawal of support for your campaign.

Senator Terrawin,

It is your right to do so, and I will not attempt to interfere in this. It is unfortunate that my belief in the rights for all, no matter their past or present, is a disagreeable message which served as the catalyst to this. This is a message that Alsakan, of all worlds, I though would be supportive of; but I understand. I thank you for your support thus far.

You two agree on many many more areas than you disagree, with respect. You are doing exactly what Senator Kruus highlighted in his New Concept as being the problems, drawing lines between us and them. Like he proposes, if the workers and the managers disagree then they should have arbitrated discussions for mutual benefit and together profit eachother.

The Core and the Rim should unite as one Republic and so regain their former glory and pride by incorporating the best of both. The people and the elite should sit down and discuss the best outcomes. He agrees with you on increasing Republic defense but through incorporating everything the Galaxy has at its disposal not insisting on big government.

Can I please urge you. Embrace Unity. Make History.

In the event of the Galactic Crisis it is traditional to form a Coalition Unity Government with different Representatives. The Republic decays and decomposes, corruption is rife and this is the worst era we have faced since the reformations. If you two don't work together, if the whole Republic doesn't work together; it will fall and divide within a century.

Would you see this? Or would you be a patriot, swallow your pride and offer the olive branch, show yourself to be a statesman and create a Unity Government for a Unified Galactic Republic with a strong future.

I apologize for my emotion, but I am concerned you've lost your way.
