| Dear Senator Kongming,
I remain open to your withdrawal from the Chancellorial race in exchange for an endorsement of my agenda. As previously discussed, I would be willing to give up all stock and shares in the Trade Federation in exchange for such a settlement of affairs. Additionally, I'd be willing to grant you either tenure as Judicial Committee Chair (and also a Pardon for any possible failures at the Raid on Duro) or grant you a negotiated position within the Administration suiting your capacity, in either the Ministry, Senatorial Council, Trade Commission, or another Committee.
Let me know how matters seem to you. I would truly value your endorsement of the New Conceptualization of Government and support, as it would help broaden it's appeal, and you cannot deny it does fundamentally share the same goals as your own agenda.
I'd also be willing to consider standing aside after a term of Governance if another New Concept Candidate could be groomed for the position... So think on that, and if you think you might be a suitable candidate.

This is first I have heard of such a proposal, so I certainly would hope you are open to it. Nonetheless, I must decline. I will not accept bribes of positions and authority to allow you an uncontested election. Even if I might lose, it is better to stand and fight for the leadership and soul of the Republic than to give in to the continuance of corruption that has permeated and rooted itself within our society. For all your talk of being of change, as I am, your actions are speaking far louder than words on the reality that you will simple be more of the same... just as I had suspected.

I fail to grasp your suggestion? I believe you to be a talented if misguided politician who I would value supporting me. In what way have I come across as corrupt in any fashion?
I am trying to provide the Republic with a consensus, under the New Concept (which you seem to agree with generally) we can build a better Republic. Simply suggesting that it would be suitable to grant a noted statesman office can hardly be regarded as any form of corruption, just a best distribution of people. I wish to have you onboard Senator Kongming, forming a government of Galactic unity without division and producing a better Republic.
Now is this not a dream worth striving for?
