| Gentlebeings,
We have come to the decision that the claims of House Garth are to be recognized as legitimate, and we are willing to issue edicts to this effect in order to calm this whole situation. As previously stated, we have no interest in direct rule or colonization over Jerne in anything more than a transitory role, to help develop it into a modern world.
So, I propose that Lorrd be granted (as it's neighbour) the status of development partner on the world and House Garth be granted a seat on behalf of Lorrd on the five member Advisory Council, on the condition Lorrd passes laws to encourage business investment in Jerne on an ethical basis and co-funds the Alderaanian environmental redevelopment projects.
We would also grant House Garth ownership of the second moon of Jerne (pending a review at the point Jerne Votes on its status in ten years time).
There seems no point in squabbling here, we both wish to help Jerne and I see no reason to cut Lorrd or Jerne out of such an arrangement.

| Representative Ordan,
I have been authorized to speak on behalf of House Garth, in particular one Tommen Garth, head of House Garth, in this matter.
Setting aside Lord Garth's strong words on the subject, the lord himself has no wish for House Garth to be represented on the Jerne Advisory Council; in part because it could be seen that Lorrd was attempting to influence its neighbor's leadership and also in part because, with business interests clear and present on-world, House Garth could be viewed as attempting to maintain a favored status should other business settle on Jerne. It is for this same reason that Lord Garth declines the ownership of one of Jerne's moons, as he claims it is not Alderaan's to give freely, but would necessitate a deal with the populace of Jerne, whose planet the moon belongs to.
I do think, Representative, that as long as House Garth's mining industries on-world are not interfered with, then you will see little of localized protest against Alderaan's occupation of Jerne from House Garth. This does not, I will note, preclude me from speaking out in the Senate, should Houses Stark and/or Volmen have an issue.
Regards,
Roman Lekpin Former Senator, Lorrd (100 BBY-92 BBY) Chosen of House Garth

| Then it is settled, and I believe this never needed to be an issue. We want to help the locals, we aren't interested in stealing House Garth's mining program, indeed we would like to see such programs and investments encouraged so the Jerne may foster links with corporations across the Republic in order that they be ready for self determination in future years.
