The pad had a blast shield over the screen, a small universal jammer inside it, and a forcefield which appeared to prevent the ability of cameras to view it. An experimental piece of technology. It opened upon a dna test that also checked his blood for levels of neurotransmitters that would indicate if he was under stress while reading it. A semi-intelligent AI fitted to a small camera also verified his identity and that he didn't appear to be being forced to open the pad, and that he wasn't using surveillance device to copy it's contents.

Greetings Customs Vizier Ryuun,

I apologize that this message will scramble using quantum algorithms as you read it, but will do so at a speed allowing you to read it. This is one of Research Divisions new secure message. The entire pad will wipe itself and you will have the device in case you need to send me or any other TF individual a message that must be off the record.

I trust operations on Druckenwell are going smoothly and your moves toward a closer relationship between your world and the TF are going well. My spies tell me they are. For it's continuing export rate increases and productivity increases in the last year, it is to be upgraded from a Grade Bronzium, a Junior Partner Manufacturing World, up two grades to Silver Grade, Trusted Partner Manufacturing World status. This will bring with it a host of financial boons, and will open up many offworld Federation jobs to Druckenwell citizens that they never could hope for before.

If you wish to see your planet improve further and become an Electrum, Gold, Platinum or who knows maybe one day an Aurodium Grade world it will take some time as these are only open to Member Worlds of the Trade Federation, as it would not be fair to grant affiliates, no matter how loyal, rights above other affiliates.

Privately Maramere, is risking it's status as a Trade Federation Member World due to the recent recalls and industrial sabotage rumours, and dropped a grade this year as well as the last with no turnaround in sight. So disappointing to see. The Governor is in discussions to actually turn direct governance of the world over to the Federation Board for a decade for them to fix the world if it will prevent them exiting Member Status and losing their subsidies, preferential agreements and lower tax rates. Frankly, I actually think they would make a more suitable Affiliate since while they love Commerce and are ruled by Private Companies, the Private Sector there is a perversely inefficient thing, vast amounts of red tape we ordered them to demolish but which the leaders have simply not done (possibly due to the entire current government not a Trade Federation official is according to our records a spice addict!)

Enough Gossip.

I'd like to have Druckenwell to lobby the independent factions, the Manda Republic, the Freestanding Subsectors, the Mandalorians and even far Mon Calamari to secure (if possible) monopolies on your world's principle exports there. A couple of those could help really turbocharge your economy.

Write to me via a normal Holo and let me know if there are any new products coming to market soon?

Senator Cynum,

Druckenwell has indeed been productive, but little outside the norm of our current subcontracting methods, wherein we've been hired out to produce vessels and weapons for others. I'm afraid that at this time, Druckenwell Shipyards and the Druckenwell Arms Corporation have very little to offer that is 'new and improved' to the market; rather relying on the tried and true methods; Druckenwell Arms, as well, is partnering with BlasTech for increased production output.

That being said, it wouldn't go amiss to send missives from us to the Manda Republic and some of the others you mentioned. I hesitate to lobby to the Mandalorian factions, unless you refer to these 'New' Mandalorians. I hear they may be more peaceful than the last group, and so I have hopes for them in the fact that they won't want to campaign against the Republic. Surely they'll have need of an available shipyard.

I'll keep you informed of any changes; see if I can convince the design board to come up with something innovative. The galaxy can always use a more efficient transport craft.

Regards,

Lomen Ryuun
Senator, Druckenwell (103 BBY - 93 BBY)
