I have a lot of differences of opinion about your world. But I don't want to rabble rouse unduly, I don't want to be a blowhard and raise the mob against you or make the event that should be joyous (becoming closer with the Republic) marred with public acrimony.
Can I meet you today when you're finished in the Chamber, after dinner perhaps, I don't know if you're a drinking man but I'm a member of the Diplomat's Club, just along from the Coruscant Opera House; theyve some very fine malts and a good collection of cigarros too if you'd be tempted! Otherwise I'm happy to meet where you like.
Just a man to man talk to try and iron out our differences like gentlemen and try to find some common ground. My Government is pressuring me to take a firmer stance against the Serene Republic and I want to see if I can convince them of the possibility of a healthy and amicable situation between them and your polity - first step to that is building one between us.
