I am no fan of aliens. I appreciate a human run corporation with human values and a honest ethos.
I'd like to offer you the chance to open and operate a Starport or Space Station on Boranda which we are now settling with the aid of a charity that helps dispossed Core Worlders find a new chance on a New World.
I am willing to extend to you a Royal Monopoly within the System's limits, making you the only authorized importer of Machinery, Vehicles, Prefabricated Housing, Durasteel for construction and most importantly Food and Fuel for six months. This will allow you, and not the Neimoiaian slime, to be the prime vendors to my prime human Colonists.

We greatly would be accepting of the offer, however it must be made clear and apparent that the Baobab Merchant Fleet, as operated for the benefit of the beings of the Most Serene Republic of Manda is thusly one that is operated, crewed and captained by beings of multiple persuasions, and species and thus not entirely human. Nor is its focus entirely centrally focused upon human values and ethos, as it is centrally focused upon the values and ethos as a whole of the Most Serene Republic of Manda as represented through the voice of its peoples whom are diverse in all species.
While it would be a great honor to be provided for this chance to open and operate a starport or space station in the Boranda System; as well as being permitted the Royal Monopoly, we fell that by accepting such an offer would only; for lack of a better word, "alienate" us from our citizens, as well as cast doubts upon our laws that ensure for the inclusion and acceptance of all species and beings of the Galaxy.
Once more we thank you for this opportunity, however we reluctantly can not accept such an offer.

Respectfully may I ask you to reconsider. While my views (as in the Senate) may have been a little brusque that day. I am a man with a prejudice and it is one I need to learn to temper, as I do my anger with humility. I have no problems with aliens -in general- however, the manner in which the Trade Federation, a company which my ancestor helped found, for the betterment of all beings, to facilitate distribution of wealth across the Galaxy by the means of the market. Once it was an organization where many different races were represented.
Now, I am concerned that the conglomerates that dominate and monopolize almost every sector of the Galactic Economy are almost exclusively alien run. Certainly, humans have been slowly getting pushed out of the Federation they helped found and I have read credible reports that they discriminate in favour of Neimoidians for many positions that are notionally open to all. It has caused my distress to see a Trade Guild be subverted and dominated by one species, who now run it essentially as a tool of the Neimoidian state.
I value diversity, different species bringing different specialties to the table. We would welcome the diverse crews to our worlds, Alderaanians have ever been known as a welcoming and accepting people. We just don't wish to become another people exploited by the Trade Federation, locked into contracts with unfair terms that cause unilateral price rises.
I believe in in equality of opportunity, and I vented my anger at the Galactic situation in an inappropriate and abrasive way. My anger does remain, but I should clarify I am not a hater of aliens, I am a hater of the cabals cooked up by certain species to further their interests at the expense of everyone else.
So I do ask you to reconsider my proposal as I have reconsidered my harsh words. I would also like to demonstrate my commitment to equality and non-speciesism by making a donation to the Rights of Sentience League, would be prepared to grant them 5% of the produce from the land I own on Boranda, this will mean they have an indefinite multi-million credit financial cushion to allow them to expand their work. I simply have a dear wish to never award a contract to the Trade Federation until it ceases to bully weaker worlds and commits to complete transparency and honesty in its dealings.
As a further demonstration I would name the Starport "Diversity Starport", and pioneer a new city to be built around it, "Diversity City" with a variety of housing types constructed to accommodate a multitude of different species in their various environments as well as human housing so that in Diversity unity can be found, by living and growing together I believe many of the casual prejudices of both aliens and humans can be made a thing of the past. The city would have a Royal Charter committing it's Administration to strict principles of equality and amelioration of past prejudice.
