| Master Tching,
The loss of my Master in the Ando system has troubled me greatly. I do appreciate the support that the Council has provided to me, but I find that Master Nataya's presence still resonates in the Jedi Temple—(or perhaps these are simply my memories of her). Respectfully, I request a leave of absence from the Temple so that I can search my feelings on Master Nataya's death. Of course, I can make regular check-ins at Jedi chapter houses to remain in touch, if you so require.

Your leave is approved. No limit shall be placed upon your travel, but we will require the regular check-ins you spoke of. I understand that the loss of a Master is a terrible thing, and many must come to terms with it in their own way. Times have been busy, and complicated. It seems the Jedi face the threat of those without any knowledge of how a Lightsaber works, let alone the Force, deeming themselves knowledgeable enough to mandate entire changes to our ways of life. I realize that in these busy times, we can forget what is truly important. I have not yet visited with you to check up on you, and for that I am truly sorry. Please, do not take this as personal insult, and I seek your forgiveness. I hope to hear from you soon, Padawan.
