In order to facilitate Trade Relations and reassure the Galactic Republic that I am indeed a reasonable being and sensible ruler of the Cygnus Star Empire, it is my intention to lead a state visit to the Galactic Republic to reassure the Markets, Senate and all concerned parties.
I intend to petition the Senate for them to declare the situation solito negotium, the status quo of affairs restored &c.
For this I require indefinite Diplomatic Immunity for myself (as Bey of the Cygnus Star Empire) and the visiting Members of my Court, our Staff and Guards, my yet-to-be appointed Ambassador to the Republic and his staff.
We also require diplomatic status for the following vessels.
- “Harsh Mistress” a Minstrel-class Space Yacht which will be the ship conveying my court and I.
- “Quietly Confident” a HH-87 Starhopper which is my personal transport for short journeys, also to be used to ferry my ambassador Diplomatic Pouches in future.
We require my Apartment on Tarsus Valorum Habitat Station (orbiting Coruscant) to be declared my temporary Embassy to the Galactic Republic and have all the rights and immunity extended to such diplomatic habitats.The Cygnus Naval Ship “Ethereal Moon” (Alderaan-class Frigate) will be accompanying my ship as a naval escort, I require a laissez-passer for it to travel as escort to my vessel and to have the freedom of my own diplomatic craft within the Republic. The Cygnus Star Empire has languished since you unilaterally terminated law enforcement cooperation agreements with the Republic and re-introduced slavery to Cygnus Imperial Space. Your Empire will go the way of the Senex and Juvex Sectors if you continue on this course, eventually being consumed by internecine Hutt power struggles and ceasing to exist in any meaningful way. However, I am prepared in my last days as Chancellor to extend to you an offer you a compromise to arrest the decline of the Cygnus Star Empire into obsolescence; I will grant you all of the diplomatic privileges and immunities you ask for, in return for a statement condemning the practice of slavery in any, shape, or form, including as a punishment for dissent or other "crimes." If you declare the Cygnus Star Empire "slavery-free," you may have your status quo. If not, there's nothing much I can do about it as Chancellor, but as a Senator I can promise to fight for Senex-Juvex-style trade sanctions on the Cygnus Star Empire, closing a Hutt conduit to Republic space and rendering you as useless to your Uncle Jabba any other underling who has failed him.
This is a better offer than you'll get from either of my potential successors, Mr. Tiure. I hope you consider it well, and quickly.

I had completely forgotten I made such a decree. I assume I was spiced at the time (so much Cygnite haute cuisine involves spice and in my first few weeks here the local chefs were just insisting I try everything).
