I would like to announce that I have negotiated with the Trade Federation, the Techno Union and several Core worlds for funding to found an organization within the Senate.
I would like to offer you the chance to become the founding members of the Senate "Alignment for the Preservation of the Rights of Sentience"
Charter of the Alignment for the Preservation of the Rights of Sentience
1. To preserve the Rights of Sentience as laid down in the Galactic Constitution almost twenty five thousand years ago and which were re-confirmed during the Ruusan Reformation.
2. To promote causes and feasible motions which seek to edify, protect or enforce the Rights of Sentience.
3. To criticize and oppose those motions, individuals and groups which seek to erode the rights of sentient beings everywhere.
4. To commit to donate at least 5% of our Salaries to create a fund in the trust of the Coruscant Benevolent Society to help rehome and rehabilitate the victims of Slavery in a facility here on Coruscant (with later facilities to be established on the worlds of joining Senators)
5. To commit our constituencies to set aside a facility with a capacity of at least 1,000 to temporarily rehome, rehabilitate and re-integrate slaves back into the Galactic Economy. The Trade Federation has offered employment to up to 50,000 of these unfortunates a year after they have been rehabilitated back to health. The Techno Union has offered the same.
6. To commit our constituencies to allow paperwork-free passage for ex-slaves to take up work within our constituencies (not requiring freed slaves to get Visas or Permits to work on our worlds).
