Information
The Foerost Shipyards are one of the largest shipyards in the Republic. It is also one of the oldest, once serving as a staging area for Republic ships in the Sith Wars of ages past. Today, the Foerost Shipyards are owned and operated by the Techno Union, which purchased them from the Republic almost 500 years ago. The Techno Union uses the shipyards for the construction and testing of new technologies—and as a safe place to meet in secret with Separatist conspirators. The shipyards are protected by Republic warships as well as tens of thousands of battle droids.
