| Vigilance Defense Systems- A Class 1 company with headquarters on Thovinack, specializing in the production and sale of advanced security chips for starships, sensors, slicing and counter-slicing programs, security cameras and equipment and minor spy drones.
Lorrd Engineering- Stark's pride and joy, passed down in the family for sixteen generations, though largely squandered in his grandfather's time, leaving Alyn and his father to bring it back to glory. Lorrd Engineering is a Class 2 company that comprises the entirety of the Kol Huro System, deeded and chartered to the Stark family for the prior sixteen generations. The following list shows which planets can produce what, and the operational status of said foundry worlds:
- Kol Huro I- Droid Foundry (Currently 2% operational capacity)
- Kol Huro II- Shipyard (Can produce up to frigate-sized vessels; 75% operational capacity)
- Kol Huro III- Arms Manufacturing Plant (100% operational)
- Kol Huro IV- Droid Foundry (Currently 15% operational capacity)
- Kol Huro V- Shipyard (Can produce up to Star Destroyer-sized vessels; currently not operational)
- Kol Huro VI- Droid Foundry (Currently 60% operational capacity)
- Kol Huro VII- Ground Vehicle Production Plant (Currently 50% operational capacity)

| Let's go back and make this a request for one company.

| I'd say Stark Unified Defense is one company; it just has several branches.
Vigilance is never going to grow larger or build drones, as it did in its former iteration. It will remain strictly sensor and computer-based. Stark Arms is, in my mind, more or less folded in more under Lorrd Engineering in terms of management, but retaining corporate autonomy in terms of stock, etc.

| A Class 3 company is "A large-sized company operating in multiple sectors. May have Class 1 and 2 subsidiary companies and sector-specific security forces." So you're requesting Stark Unified Defense as a Class 3 company, which should be its goal rather than what it starts out as. I think you want to start by requesting these individually as Class 1 or 2 companies.

| Well, in a sense that could make sense, but it seemed easier to fold all three companies into one banner, more or less, than make three separate requests, two for companies that would never grow past Class I. Stark Arms and VDS aren't meant to be large companies; the only large one would be Lorrd Engineering. The company name 'Stark Unified Defense' is more of a 'banner name' at this point than a valid company, I would say, if that makes sense.

| Sorry, to clarify: the idea of the class system is to make sure that companies in the RP are ends in themselves, rather than being treated simply as subsidiaries, or means to the ends of the parent company. That is, if someone is requesting a corporation, the success of that corporation must be demonstrated in the RP in order to advance to the higher class. Likewise, if someone is requesting multiple companies, they must each succeed in the RP on their own merits. So I do think they need to be requested (and RP'd) separately.
I do have a useful announcement to make concerning planetary shipyards like Lorrd Engineering, however. It might be of interest to you. I'll probably post that once I'm done with requests.

| Got rid of Stark Arms, then, and disbanded the Stark Unified Defense company.
Instead, this request is for VDS, a Class I company, and Lorrd Engineering, a Class II company. Two separate companies.

| Still working on the particulars of that, actually. So let's deal with this request in the meantime.
It looks good, actually. I only have one question about it; namely, Lorrd Engineering doesn't design droids, right? It has these droid foundries, but I'm assuming they're simply to build droids for other companies (such as Vigilance Technologies, for instance). Space-based and surface-based vehicles—and guns—make sense for Lorrd Engineering. But droid design is a whole other animal. Indeed, companies like Industrial Automaton and Cybot Galactica seem to make droids and only droids. It seems improbable that a Lorrd-based shipwright would also have a "droid division." That's probably not what you mean, but I just wanted to make sure.
